Cannery Store Feature: Corrine Hunt Shawl

Over the summer, the Cannery Store brought in lovely shawls designed by Corrine Hunt. Since they were first brought in, they’ve been flying off the shelves. The beautiful Northwest Coast First Nations designs, colour variety, and amazingly soft materials, are a few reasons why they appeal to many.

Corrine Hunt creates contemporary art that reflects the themes and traditions of her Komoyue and Tlingit heritage. Each shawl is a different design and reflect the unique spirit and cultural wealth of the lands of the North Pacific Coast.

Made of sustainable soybean and wool fibers, these soft to the touch shawls come in two-tone colours: navy, grey, red and turquoise.

Come by the Cannery Store and pick up your shawl today!
