Father’s Day Gift Ideas from the Cannery Store
Submitted by Larissa F., Heritage Interpreter
Father’s Day is just around the corner, so if you’re still looking for the perfect gift, come by the Cannery Store to check out the fabulous selection of gift ideas we have!
For the always-stylish dad, we have beautiful 100% silk ties which feature elaborate First Nations designs created by various local First Nations artists. They come in multiple colours and designs, so you’ll be sure to find the perfect one!
For the fisherman dad, what could be more fitting than a pair of cufflinks that show their love of fishing, right on their sleeves? We sell cuff links that have pictures of fly fishing lures on them, as well as ones made of golden sharks.
For the Master Chef dad, a fun gift idea is one of the tea towels we sell, which is printed with text that reads, “This is not a tea towel; This is a manly bar towel”.
For the always-practical dad, consider getting him a snapback hat from our store – each one features a First Nations design made by a Canadian First Nations artist and is great for any outdoor adventure your family plans to embark on.
For the dad who’s always looking for a good laugh, you can never go wrong with a pair of socks from our gift shop. We carry a large variety of fun patterns – from beer logos to sushi to pirates, what could possibly be a more fun gift?
Hopefully this post has helped you out and given you some inspiration for gift ideas – be sure to stop by the gift shop to see some of these cool items for yourself! And don’t forget to plan a visit with dad and the family to the Cannery this year – admission is free for Canada’s 150th!
