Santa visits the Cannery!

This Sunday December 6th, celebrate “Christmas in Steveston”, highlighted by a visit to the Cannery by Santa himself!

The day will start off with Steveston’s indoor winter market, the Cannery Farmers’ Market, from 10am to 3pm. Admission to the market is free — the market features local food products and artisans, including sweet treats and unique hand-crafted gifts for your holiday needs!

While at the Cannery, don’t miss the Festival of Trees; vote for your favourite with a donation to the Richmond Food Bank. *Regular admission to the Cannery will apply on non-market days.

At 12noon, there will be an unveiling of a new public art mural at Fisherman’s Park, right in front of the Cannery, followed by a Classic Car Cruise through the village at 12:15pm.

Finally, Santa will arrive at Steveston’s Fishermen’s Wharf at 1pm, and will visit the Cannery between 2-4pm for photos in our Boiler House Theatre. Be sure to pick up a timed ticket for a photo with Santa (tickets will be available at the Cannery from 12noon, while supplies last) — and don’t forget your camera!
