Traditional Coast Salish Song and Dance to open new exhibit
This Saturday, May 6th, we are celebrating the opening of our new exhibit The Pull of the Net: Commercial Fishing in Canada with a multicultural celebration, and are excited to have Tsatsu Stalqayu: Coastal Wolf Pack, a traditional Salish song and dance group, to share their music with us.
The performance will start at 12 noon in front of the Gulf of Georgia Cannery entrance and will proceed inside the museum, where a multitude of cultural demonstrations, workshops, food tastings and activities will be taking place throughout the day from 11am to 4pm. For more details about the event and our community partners, visit the event page here: Pull of the Net A Multicultural Celebration
