This year’s Fishing the West Coast Photo Contest was a great success. The quality of the photographs was fantastic and we had a lot of positive feedback from the public.  As in previous years, public voting helped us to determine the winner.

An important goal of the Fishing the West Coast Project is to collect pictures of the west coast fishing industry and fishing environment so that we have a record of the present for the future.  These photographs will be retained in our archives as historical records of the fishing industry.
