Cannery Store Feature: Salmon for your garden
How would you like to have salmon swimming in your garden? The Cannery Store has beautifully handcrafted salmon ornaments meant for your garden. Created by artist Eric Teramura, these up-cycled fish are made from old oil drums, and come in a natural rust, red, or blue. They are a lovely addition to any garden. Stake them along your fence, house or in your vegetable patch, and watch them swim in circles with the wind. Add one or add many, they are guaranteed to make your garden look exceptional!
About the artist:
Inspired by the sea from an early age from his coastal upbringing, Eric Teramura has had many years of encountering all species of salmon as a commercial and fly fisherman. By trade Eric works as a Heavy Equipment Technician where his work cutting, shaping and fusing metal became a honed skill. Eric’s commitment to reclaiming, re-using, and recycling, combined with his interest in garden design, created the perfect conditions for the conception of his Oil Drum Salmon. Eric resides in Campbell River, B.C., coincidentally coined as “The Salmon Capital of the World” with his wife, three young sons and the dog.
