Parks Canada is once again hosting the Marine Poster Contest!

This year’s theme is: How to keep the ocean healthy…

The contest is open to students in grades 4 to 8 residing in British Columbia. Only original artwork will be accepted. For full contest details and to download an entry form, please visit the website.

Prizes:

Artists:

• The Grand Prize includes a one year Parks Canada Family Discovery Pass and prize package.
• The top six winners will also win a Nikon Coolpix digital camera or binoculars
• Prize packages will also be presented to finalists.

Teachers:

• Teachers can win a Vancouver Aquarium school program visit or online school program for a class*
• Vancouver Island teachers can also win a Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre school program visit for a class*

*School program prizes will be by lottery and can be redeemed in 2011-2012 school year.
