In the Cannery: Nikkei Fishing Open House – Oct. 23rd

This Sunday, October 23rd, you are invited to join the Japanese Canadian National Museum andĀ The Nikkei Fishing Exhibit Committee at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery for a Nikkei Fishing Open House. Join in discussionsĀ about a new exhibit on fishers of Japanese descent in British Columbia, set to open in September 2012. Bring your photos, family stories, and personal experiences to thisĀ open houseĀ because the Japanese Canadian National Museum would be happy to hear about them.

The event takes place in the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, between 1 pm and 3pm.
