Another Wednesday, another photo! This week I have a relatively recent photo for you, so I hope someone recognizes it. Also, just a reminder that our Fishing the West Coast photo contest has now closed. We received many wonderful entries which we are very excited to show you! Photos will go on display at the end of August – stay tuned for more details.

Taken sometime around 1990, this black and white print depicts an unidentified fishing cove on Vancouver Island. This picture is part of our recently-digitized Fisheries Council of British Columbia Collection, which encompasses over 3,000 photographs related to the West Coast fishing industry. This print measures 5 X 7 inches.
