A paranormal evening at the Cannery

Earlier this month, a team from Northern Paranormal Investigations conducted some overnight investigations of the Cannery to see what is lurking in the dead of night! One of our braver heritage interpreters accepted the role of staying overnight at the Cannery, to allow a few members of the NPI team investigate various areas around the 122 year-old historic building. One of the investigation locations included the Ice House, where quite often our surveillance camera, which only films when motion is detected, films for minutes at a time, when nobody is inside the building! They also set up their highly sensitive audio recording and video camera equipment upstairs in the can loft, where the public is usually not admitted, and rows upon rows of artifacts line the shelves of our collections storage space. Think of all the stories these artifacts must have to tell!

If you are interested in finding out what the team uncovered when no one else was around, join us this Saturday, October 22, 2016 for an after-hours presentation with Northern Paranormal Investigations from 7-9pm (doors open at 6:30pm). The evening will also include a tour to some of the areas that NPI investigated, and some time to ask questions about this and other investigations.  Please note that this event is recommended for audience members ages 16 and up.

Tickets $10 each (or $6, if bought with Halloween event admission). Tickets may be bought at the door, or in advance online at brownpapertickets.com

What will we find out? Who or what else wanders through the Cannery when the sun goes down?
