Cannery Row performs at next Music at the Cannery – July 15th
Submitted by C.Harris, Events and Volunteer Coordinator
Join us this Friday evening at 6:30 pm, rain (inside the Cannery) or shine (outdoors on the Tank Deck), for the live musical performance Cannery Row – made up of roots musicians Gary Comeau, Tim Hearsey and Chris Nordquist.
Cannery Row performs with a diversity of instruments that range from piano, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, accordion and sometimes even a washboard. The style of Cannery Row music evolves from the roots and blues of Memphis to Mississippi, the bayou rhythms from New Orleans and central Louisiana, the Latin percussion sounds of Cuba, and all the way back to the fiddle jig of east coast Canada. Each performance is always unique and spectacular.
Cannery Row’s show was sold out last year, so come early as our doors open at 6:00pm. Don’t be surprised if there is already a line when you arrive. Admission is by donation and there is also a concession available.
