Last Friday July 15th, was a beautiful evening to listen to a lively performance by Cannery Row – made up of roots musician Gary Comeau, Tim Hearsey and Chris Nordquist — for our second Music at the Cannery concert of the season.

What a great turnout for the evening and it was also lovely to see some people get up and dance to the music.  It was definitely a Rocking and Rollin’ night.

This Friday evening on July 22nd, please join us at 6:30 pm, for a live musical performance by local duo Fionn.  Fionn (pronounced: fee-yun) is comprised of twin sister singer/songwriter duo Alanna and Brianne Finn-Morris from White Rock, BC.  Their music is an eclectic mix of guitar and mandolin-based folk, country, and pop, paired with mesmerizing vocal harmonies.  Definitely a show you wouldn’t want to miss.

Music at the Cannery will be taking place on Friday nights only for the month of July, so this will be the second to last show of the season!  Come early as doors open at 6:00pm, with the show starting at 6:30pm. Admission is by donation and concession is available.

Music at the Cannery is produced in collaboration with the Beat Merchant Record Store in Steveston.
