October 25^th marks the beginning of evidentiary hearings for the Cohen Commission’s Inquiry into the Decline of Sockeye Salmon in the Fraser River.  That week also kicks off with a series of events in support of the salmon, starting on October 20^th with the Paddle for Wild Salmon and finishing on October 25^th with a march to the federal fisheries department office and a “Spirit of the Salmon Celebration” rally in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
