As Cohen hearings begin, so do the marches and rallies

October 25th marks the beginning of evidentiary hearings for the Cohen Commission’s Inquiry into the Decline of Sockeye Salmon in the Fraser River.  That week also kicks off with a series of events in support of the salmon, starting on October 20th with the Paddle for Wild Salmon and finishing on October 25th with a march to the federal fisheries department office and a “Spirit of the Salmon Celebration” rally in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
