2013 Best Catch Sustainable Seafood Festival

The Cannery is hosting the second annual “Best Catch” Sustainable Seafood Festival on Saturday, September 14 from Noon to 4:00 pm. Best Catch will help you discover which seafood choices are best for the planet and demonstrations by top chefs like Karen Barnaby and Ian Lai will show you what is tastiest for the plate! The cooking demonstrations will take place at the top of each hour, and there will be performances from Rio Samaya and The Swagmen. After visiting “Best Catch” stroll down to the public wharf and pick up some fresh seafood and try one of the demonstration recipes when you get home.

Kids won’t be left out of the fun, there will be carnival games and children’s crafts and admission to the Cannery will be Free. For more details visit www.bestcatchfestival.org.
