Check out our new exhibit: ‘Trading Routes: Rivers, Fish and Oil’!
Our newest feature exhibit, called ‘Trading Routes: Rivers, Fish and Oil’ is now open! Come and learn about the Grease Trails, a little fish called the eulachon, and what these two have in common with fossil fuel industries today.
This exhibit was created as part of “Trading Routes: Grease Trails, Oil Futures“, an art and research project, led by principal investigator Ruth Beer. It features interviews, photographs, video, and artwork from artists and students.
Fun fact: Did you know that the eulachon was also known as the ‘candlefish’? Visit the exhibit to see why!
