Delicacies of a Delicate Sea

Geoduck, anyone? Perhaps sturgeon caviar is more your cup of tea. If you’re surprised at the mention of either on a menu, it’s time to take a peek at Delicacies of a Delicate Sea, a new magazine launched by the David Suzuki Foundation which celebrates sustainable seafood.

Responsible choices certainly don’t equate boring: oysters, clams and pink salmon feature prominently. The magazine explores sturgeon farming on the Sunshine Coast and First Nation river fisheries in Harrison, amongst other innovative producers. Each article is like a mini-adventure along the West Coast, so dive in!

Check out the debut issue here.
