The 2010/11 school year has been declared the Year of Science by the BC Provincial government and November specifically is Ocean Wise month.  As an organization that is “committed to igniting interest and increasing awareness of the importance of science,” the Vancouver Aquarium has been a key partner in this initiative.  They are conducting a speaker series throughout the school year, including the Future of Seafood talk by Dr. Daniel Pauly and Mike McDermid on November 30th at 7:00 PM at the Vancouver Aquarium.  Space is limited for this event so be sure to register early!
