It’s hatching time!
Come see the babies! Our Salmonids in the Museum are progressing to the hatching stage and we couldn’t be prouder of them. It’s been a tough season for the program, as many of the hatchery eggs delivered to classroom tanks have been in poor health. While the mortality rate has been higher than normal, we have a nice batch of about 30 alevin wriggling around our tank. Stop by, watch them wiggle and learn why they’re still attached to their egg sacs.
