Are you looking for something festive to do with your whole family, leading up to Christmas? Come down the Gulf of Georgia Cannery and enjoy the Festival of Trees. Running until Dec. 23rd, 10 am to 5 pm each day, this event is guaranteed to warm your heart and tickle your holiday spirit!

Each participating organization from the Steveston Merchants Association has selected their own theme and uniquely decorated their tree. The trees are located throughout the building, so don’t forget to visit each one. Keep in mind, this is a contest; please vote for your favourite!

Want to kill to birds with one stone? Visit the Festival of Trees this weekend and also catch this Saturday’s Cannery Holiday Cinema. We will be screening Home Alone at 2:00 pm in our Boiler House Theatre. Or, you could come down on Sunday for the Winter Farmers and Artisans Market and take a moment to visit the beautifully dressed trees at the same time.
