This past Sunday marked the first bi-weekly Steveston Winter Farmers and Artisans Market.  While usually the summer Farmers Market takes place in the area around the Cannery, the Winter Market has now moved indoors and takes cover under our protective roof to continue offering unique foods and art year round.  Our sunny fall weather shone beautifully on the remarkable 3400 shoppers that came to the Winter Market debut. With over 60 vendors present selling produce, preserves, original giftware , a raffle, and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Winter Markets will be every other Sunday from now through April 10, 2011.  The Gulf of Georgia Cannery has waived the regular entrance fee in favour of admission by donation on market days.  Please dress warmly as the building can be chilly.
