Even though there is a lot of hustle and bustle around Steveston in preparation for this fun-filled weekend, there are events a-brewing beyond this nation’s day of celebration.  Next Friday, July 6th, Music at the Cannery debuts with the toe-tapping band Headwater. These local performers are guaranteed to put on a great show filled with roots, folk, and a little bit of bluegrass music. Headwater recently debuted a new sound, at the heart of which are great vocal harmonies, seriously catchy choruses, and some tasty grooves.

Music at the Cannery starts at 6:30pm every Friday from July 6th to August 31st. We recommend coming in at 6:00 pm to guarantee a seat. Entry is by donation (a suggested minimum of $5.00). Please dress warmly.
