If you braved the cool weather on Thursday morning, you may have seen some cannery workers chasing a salmon and handing out goodies with G&F Financial staff in the Canada Day Parade. After chasing down the salmon, we headed back to the Cannery, which was open free in honour of Canada Day.

Throughout the rest of the day, staff – some still in period costume – and volunteers greeted and guided more than 4,100 visitors through the Cannery, making this our busiest day ever! At the end of the day you may have seen our salmon outside, dancing and encouraging people to take advantage of the last few hours of free entry.

Thanks to our staff and volunteers for making the day run so smoothly, and to all of the guests who joined us for our busiest day yet! We hope to see you again soon!
